Resting peacefully on a Wednesday

Resting peacefully on a Wednesday morning, our dear friend Elisabeth's life was forever changed by a disasterous explosion. Her mom went outside to investigate but could not find the incidendiary source. In the living room, she finally found it. A box of craft paints lay in ruins, its contents pelted with the blood of a kamikaze comrade.

A "Silver Anniversary" bottle of 2 oz. FolkArt craft paint had exploded! A call to the shifty "folks" led to the disturbing revelation: her paint had been recalled.

I was checking when Elisabeth came to show me the exploded bottle and exchange it for another (of a similar color). She told me it smelled bad and I decided to take a small whiff. What few molecules entered my body were positively toxic. I was leaning over and coughing when a customer came to buy some candles. She warned, "You could get high off that, in a bad way." Giggles ensued.

In totally unrelated news, I found the most delightful quote: "It is the case that no two countries that both have McDonalds franchises have ever gone to war with each other."
