Since you don’t really know me, getting a new car is a miracle in itself.

I went from having a still rather nice 1989 Chevy Beretta to a brand new 2001 Honda Civic.

That is quite an upgrade for me, the unfortunate part is that I will be poor for the rest of my life, since even though the car will be paid off in a few years, I figure I will be married or something like that by the time that is over and you know what kind of expenses that can incur.

The sad part (other than the payments) is my emotional attachment to “Natalie” (my Beretta). I have enjoyed my car immensley and and made a few memories to boot *wink wink*. But I know that Halie (my Civic) and I will enjoy our new life together and I hope to make some new memories in my new car too.

Now for the details:

  • Power windows and locks
  • Power moonroof
  • Eternal Blue
  • Cupholders and lights galore...

It’s got everything I will ever need in a car and I couldn’t be happier about it.

[Editor’s Update, 2008: Chad paid off his car a while ago and is still single. He’s used his new-found wealth to indulge in electronics purchases.]
